currently listening to..

the killers presents:
hot fuss
this album is a classic piece of alternative perfection.
that's it.

then making a wish, he tossed in the sea

when i entered the church pictured below i was met by a half dozen beggars. the man i was most interested in was the one pictured. his bright white shirt against the dark wooden door created great contrast perfect for a excellent black and white picture. also the bright shirt and cup draw your eyes direclty to the man and then outward to look at the rest of the photo. but i did have some challenges in this picture. the smaller of the two challenges was cropping it perfectly to get the best photo i could. i finnaly decided to take a little off the top and the left side (there was somebody’s bag laying there, you can see the corner of it. it took too much attention away from the subject). the biggest problem was the glare on the marble floor that you can soobviously see on the left. to fix that mess i didn’t have any other option but to use my paint tool and to carefully darken the spot, then i went in with my burn tool and added some contrast/darkness to the chosen area. it took alot of trial an error, but i think i got it.

clutch

Shout out: Alexander McQueen
via lady gaga
recently i was walking through the meatpacking district with a dear friend and stumbled across
McQueen's store. i had never seen his 'wearable fashion' and i was blown away. what really
caught my eye was his knack for creating beautiful bags/clutches.

and we all know he knows how to make a great heel.

fruit cup.

honest to goodness happiness in a cupness.

original pinkberry, pineapple, raspberry, coconut, honey drizzle (they forgot, bastards)
my friends tamara and amanda recently taught me the trick of cutting the frozen yogurt in half and adding the toppings to the middle for true mixing excellence.
brilliant.

trip-tic

seasons greetings.

slowface

The clock struck 2:00 am and we began to
conduct our photo shoot in the dorm. My roommate was making
BBQ sauce with large quantities of molasses.
He began pouring the molasses into the bowl
and i got a sudden urge to pour it onto human faces.
